We need to test everyone with symptoms, and track and test the known contacts of all who test positive. All positives or exposed need to be isolated. TINA. There is no alternative.

We need to do all that, but we shouldn’t stop there. We should also expand testing to the point where anyone who wants to be tested can get tested, regardless of whether they’re symptomatic.

It would be extremely helpful to know who has had the virus and recovered. If they have some immunity, they can help with grocery shopping, and volunteering at food pantries, etc.
