There's an issue with self-quarantine and isolation away from family. That's what they did elsewhere but in countries where pro-social behavior is much higher in the US. Also, China's was not voluntary. Americans will not accept involuntary quarantine and it will backfire.

I will have to have a lot of information before that feels comfortable. I really don't to end up on a ventilator, but at least with this in place, there's more likely to be ventilators and beds available.
