Have you ever read a book that changed your life? Where it was so intense you could only read a little and then you’d have to pace around a room because your mind was being blown? When I was 18, I found that book. It was City of Quartz by Mike Davis. I’d love to hear yours.

This would be a good step toward a biography of him. Work by someone serious should start soon, not ten years from now. His life and his stories are on another level, and he unfortunately has no interest in writing a memoir.
