It does seem important that, despite statewide turnout rising significantly (from 1.2 million to 1.5 million) turnout in Detroit went in the other direction, however narrowly.

But I can't really figure out what it means.

The city of Detroit isn’t that big anymore. Fewer than 700K of the metro area’s 2.5M people.

that tweet seems a little deceptive: "Nearly 1.6 million people cast ballots on the Democratic side Tuesday. That is almost 380,000 more than four years ago — a 31% increase."https://www.woodtv.com/news/elections/democrats-buoyed-by-high-turnout-in-michigan-primary/amp/?__twitter_impression=true …

Yeah, Michigan turnout is higher but Detroit is lower, which is a problem because Democrats usually do much better in big cities than suburbs or rural areas.

Jeet: Biden lost PA the moment he said he was going to 'regulate' fracking more, which any rational person knows will become a ban. If Trump hangs onto FL, NC, and OH, the election outcome is decided.

Seems like trump would have a hard time winning big cities, but what do I know.
