1. Biden is now a formidable frontrunner, enjoying a kind of lead not seen since John Kerry in 2004. Given that, it's worth asking who he'll need to win over if he's the nominee. One big weakness is the young. He's lost under 30 in all states & often under 45. https://twitter.com/pklinkne/status/1237548891286851584 …

He has to start by having more than "zero empathy" for them

He would need a massive policy shift that his donors would not approve and he has a tremendous credibility gap considering his absolutely 'go pound sand, kid' attitude on policy. I don't see a feasible way for him to even remotely pick up the numbers he needs.

All he has to do is become a completely different person and change all his policy positions

All true--but, if the young had shown up at the primaries, Bernie would have won. Doesn't give me much confidence that they would show up in the general for any candidate.

Impossible. If they pick Biden they’ve learned nothing and the Party is doomed possibly for a generation.

Would Bernie have given up Medicare for All to win over all the Dem voters - like unions - that don’t support? Would he even stop booing Hillary at his rallies? You lost and are free to vote for whoever you want. We know you want to help elect Trump again.
