Except warren did get not actual insiders but a cohort that would be extremely helpful to Bernie and is at best breaking 50/50 to him.

But just as you said in Nation piece, she was too early. If she had kept her lead, it might have worked for her. But real point is that there are 50 left liberal pols—not the dead center—Bernie apparently didn’t try to elicit endorsements from. Bottom line: factional strategy.
