Battle between Saudis and Russia over oil prices, now spilling over into value of the Peso is likely a preview of the geopolitical knock on effects of the COVID-19 crisis.

Things are going to start cascading now. There's no way to predict where it'll end. And America won't have a stable government for at least 11 months.

Biden and Sanders will suspend all rallies and public air travel for themselves within the next 7 days.

My guess is that some big-state governors and big-city mayors are about a week away from setting up a collaborative effort that isn't dependent upon the federal response. I'd be looking at what DeSantis does in FL, then Abbott in TX and Ducey in AZ.

At least Trump negotiated peace with North Korea.

Jeet is correct, no possibility of any stability in markets until it becomes totally clear that Trump won’t be President in 2021

This tweet suddenly made me wonder: will #COVIDー19 be used as a voter suppression tactic (scaring people away from the polls, if not closing some polling places), and will people *self*-suppress (i.e., not vote, out of fear of exposing themselves to the virus)?

Primaries are pretty much settled. General election is in November. The peak of COVID-19 will be done by early summer. So, probably not.

Time for Biden or Saunders to start presidenting the way that Obama did in 2008 in the midst of the economic meltdown during the election then.

Yes, Cascade & Credit/Default Tsunami. The credit markets -- specifically oil & gas or highly leveraged BBB+ rated -- will trigger an event rarely seen. Once again, those rating agencies will be caught with their pants down. Financial markets are credit-based pawnshops.🍸
