Curious how this deal could really be made. Yes the party's left wing might consider it in principle (only in the scenario the first-ballot margin between Bernie and Biden is very small), but would the moderate establishment?? (In good faith, at least?) Hugely implausible.

The mechanism used by Obama seems to have been giving HRC the SOS position plus some say over personnel at the DNC. So those are the kinds of terms you’d need to think in. Things a President Biden would control directly.
