Not socialism. More like disaster relief for people who built fancy homes on a flood plain. Anyway, this has nothing to do with my point, which was about Bernie’s rhetoric rather than his policies. And if socialists think he’s representing them fairly, fine. I just wanted better.

I don't mean to be disrespectful but I really wish intellectuals with important platforms would stop using "socialism" to mean "handouts" the way Republicans have taken to using it. The word has a meaning, though an increasingly vague one. Even Reagan understood that.
