As best we know, Russian gov't invested in troll farms in 2016 & now - these had (to extent it can be measured) a negligible impact. we have evidence from the polls that Comey was the death blow. I’ve never seen anyone try to determine the extent to which the hacking eroded support.

I honestly don’t get why you cling to one factor when there were clearly multiple factors working in concert. Yes, the Comey letter moved the needle at that time but are the factors moving the needle’s position pre-Comey’s letter inconsequential? I don’t get that.

Comey reversed the needle into the opposite direction that it was heading at the most critical period less than two weeks before the election.
