I don’t understand the 3 houses knock. Bernie is pretty old. He held jobs for several decades and lived relatively frugally for his class, and achieved this level of affluence recently. I actually remember in 2016 go after “millionaires and billionaires”. Sometime between then and now he became a millionaire. So now he only goes after billionaires.

Sanders is in the same position as pretty well any college professor or equivalent the same age as he is. Our 401K (actually 403B for the profs). The stock market did the work. All we had to do was buy a house and not get fired.
