3. Bernies popular vote victories in Iowa and NH have made him the frontrunner. It's unlikely that the number 2 candidate, Buttigieg, will get far now that he has to compete in states that aren't overwhelmingly white. Still, Sanders coalition needs to grow. It'll be a slog
