The American president has the ability to blow up the world (and in Trump's case might do so). So I'm afraid this effects all of us.

Wouldn't the better thing for people to be doing right now be to highlight all the reasons that frontrunner Bernie can clean Trump's clock in November, rather than endlessly speculate on why a process which is a clusterfuck by design turned out to be a clusterfuck?

Agree this should be the focus of the Sanders campaign and Sanders supporters. But I'm not part of the Sanders campaign or a Sanders supporter.

Maybe the tweet was bad but I think what I said was that very mainstream CNN journalists like Harry Enten as well twitter clowns like me see it as dumpster fire, so it's not going to be possible to forget it or move on.

Right, but there were also a lot of calls to "move on" (including, as you pointed out, from the Sanders campaign). I think in terms of building trust in party (key to defeating Trump), that "move on" message is bad & there should be an accountability message.

David Dayen is going farther than I would, but this is an example of a concrete way to have accountability.https://twitter.com/ddayen/status/1225799571747401728 …
