Okay fuck this sucks but here it is. We don't know how many SDEs were allocated to the CD-1 satellite caucuses overall because that's dependent on turnout. See Steve, who seems to have figured this out 5 minutes before I didhttps://twitter.com/SteveKornacki/status/1225306065631404032 …

Based on the 3 other districts, you’d guess that Sanders will get a huge % in the IA-1 satellite caucus. Assuming he does, the key to watch is turnout. If it’s 600 or less, only 5.6 SDEs are distributed. If it’s 601-1,200, then 11.2 are. Could make all the difference for Sanders.

It is unclear whether that's dependent on the initial count (the larger number, since people often leave after realignment) or the final count. The actual 77-page caucus plan doesn't even say. I don't think they actually thought this one out

There are 13 CD1 satellite caucuses. According to this hero, turnout was 416 from 7 satellites where that figure is known from public sources. Meaning turnout had to have been 185 total from the 6 remaining satellites to get the extra SDEshttps://twitter.com/BresslerSamuel/status/1225305293921210368 …

We have 7 accounted for, 6 unaccounted for. Attendance 416 thus far.

Out of these 13 satellite caucuses, Bernie swept at least 3 of them and won at least 3. Klob won 1. The rest are unknown.

SDEs are allocated by multiplying the proportion of county-level delegates won by the number of SDEs allocated. So if you get half the delegates and there's 10 SDEs you get 5 SDEs. In this case the # of SDEs will be either 5.6 or 11.2 depending on if turnout hits 601.

I'll save you the rest of this. The bottom line is if turnout exceeds 601--which I suspect it will--and he did as well in the unknown caucuses as in the known ones--which I suspect he will--he will net 5 SDEs and overtake Pete in the stupid bullshit count that's irrelevant anyway

I could have saved you a lot of trouble: Bernie Won. Or: Bernie won the popular vote & tied in the pledged delegates, which means he won.
