It's a curious thing that after every massive institutional failure (Epstein's death in prison, Iowa) there's a subset of people more upset about the conspiracy theories these events generate than the fact there was a massive institutional failure.

The 911 truthers probably stymied a fulsome accounting of what happened that day; a complete failure of intelligence or colossal negligence on the administration. Moronic truthers allowed the administration to paint anyone with concerns on those failures as cranks and kooks.

Having an honest conversation about the failure is very tough to do when people spread conspiracy theories. Don’t get upset at people frustrated by this.
