2. During the Al Smith dinner in 2016, Hillary Clinton joked about wanting to talk to Michael Bloomberg “I am curious to hear what a billionaire has to say.” The joke here is that Bloomberg is the real thing, a billionaire, something Trump only pretends to be.

3. If Bloomberg is the candidate, he'll be in a good position to lean into the "not a real billionaire" argument. And arguably that's a something that could get into Trump's head. But is that the real problem with Trump?

4. Let's say Trump is only worth $100 million. That's still a lot of money and for most people conceptually indistinguishable from being a billionaire. The real problem with Trump, from a Warren/Sanders point of view, is not that he's fake rich but that he's corruptly rich.
