This is interesting. I have to say, I really don't understand a mindset that is more bothered by slurs (as bad as they are) than by launching unnecessary wars that get hundreds of thousands of innocent people killed (war which are also, in fact, racist).

the implied argument is, i think, that wars are sometimes necessary/good and so any given war is a judgment call, whereas there's no reason to ever be racist or use slurs.

Wars are sometimes necessary (never good) but the criteria for lauching a war should be very, very high (as in traditional just war theory). People who make it their life's work to keep the criteria for launching a war low are not good people.

So as long as Henry Kissinger uses the correct pro-nouns his genocides are cool. That's a stupid test.

Just checking. Are you saying that the Afghanistan "war" was racist? A "war" backed by the UN, involving soldiers from 50-plus UN member states, an intervention supported by the embryonic Afghan government and (i.e. a dozen opinion polls in Af'stan) most Afghan people?

what about the war on black people tho? is that not also "bad"? is there a threshold of dead black people we need to reach that triggers your interest in ending that war? can you tell us? i mean, it's been a 400 yr war, does time factor into your calculations?
