Yes, it's very highly valued among ... basically people who are the polar opposite of Left Twitter (car salesmen, m&a bankers, etc) and it's been more traditionally valued by The Ruling Class.

In fairness, it's a legit question to ask how someone that is so dogmatic would fair as POTUS when the job requires constant compromise.

Not even a Bernie Stan but his Senate record shows a great deal of compromise. Its possible to see how he would do that in office.

It’s interesting to me that thoughtfulness and the ability to work well with others is somehow now a bad thing. And it’s worth considering how much Bernie might have accomplished if he ever learned to play well with others. Less screaming, more legislation.
