One question Democratic voters can ask themselves is which candidate is most likely to strike a bipartisan deal with Mitch McConnell to trim Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and which ones are most likely to fight McConnell on this.https://twitter.com/StevenTDennis/status/1218660584155156480 …

Pfft. I'm obviously not talking about a pitch for voters. I'm talking about our pitch for social policy expansion (universal health care via a public option, growing social security & medicaid, for example) after the Dems win the presidency.

Well in that case it's telling that you find McConnell's view of social policy more persuasive than Bernie/Warren.

#pt And it's telling that you've identified Bernie-Warren policies as attempts to mobilize Dem voters. Why don't you try to stoke populism in Canada Y share responsiblility for any negative effects in your own country? Shouldn't Canada spend less on private HC than Australia? -
I'm happy to support in Canada social democratic parties that do want to spend much more on health care and fight the creation of a two-tier system. Thank you for asking.
