Yes and no. The rank-and-file support is there. However national unions like CWA and Postal Workers have stayed out unlike the last time

Can't speak to this particular union, but it is often the case that union leadership "endorses" a candidate without consulting membership. Any real union (excluding cop unions, of course) who endorses Trump would be weird AF, but any D will do.

Even without explicit endorsements he's doing better, SEIU and the teacher's union endorsed Hillary in about September 2015 iirc. Having no 'chosen' candidate help by itself.

Ah, so in keeping with the general pattern that there are far fewer endorsements in 2020 than there were in 2016. People are waiting for for a front-runner.
