      1. The recent friction between the Warren campaign and the Sanders campaign is rooted in fundamentally different theories about not just who should be the nominee but how Democrats can defeat Trump.

      2. Warren has been honing her electability argument and it comes down to unity: Democrats can win the presidency if they stay united and she's the best candidate to do that. Sanders' argument is Dems can win by expanding the electorate & he can do that.

I don’t know what positive comes from the candidates getting into the punditry discussion that sucks no matter where it comes from

Warren is a victim of trump's racism & the apartheid Southern white pathology it represents via @senatemajldr. Sexism & racism are strongly connected & for her this means she can't win in the South. Black voters know this, which is why vast majority back Biden.

Warren's strategy is flawed in that "unity" is just a euphemism for "Bernie supporters will accept me" as no one ever questions whether Biden supporters will support the ticket no matter what. When making that argument *in a fight with Bernie supporters* it naturally falls flat.

Thing is, she clearly has potential to expand the electorate too. At the very least, she could pull back in a whole bunch of the 4.1M missing 2012/2016 Obama voters.

Both arguments can be valid paths to victory, but I’m also a little skeptical of both of them: Bernie hasn’t shown he can grow his support inside the democratic primary process beyond his existing base, and Warren has to overcome a lot from both the left and right, plus sexism.

The friction comes from Warren and Castro arguing that Bernie cannot unite people and then screaming, "Bernie's trashing us" when a random person makes their argument, but for Bernie.

You mean how they had Sanders’ campaign workers call voters telling them Warren only appeals to “elites”?

And some Warren strategist decided it was a good idea to piss of young people and leftists with behind the scenes smears, which of course will go great in the general as young people and leftists are such a reliable voting block. Worst political instincts. Amazing.
