2. Warren has been honing her electability argument and it comes down to unity: Democrats can win the presidency if they stay united and she's the best candidate to do that. Sanders' argument is Dems can win by expanding the electorate & he can do that.

Warren might unite Dems, but we need Indies to win, that's where Bernie outshines her in a big way. Dems don't want to look at that, clearly, we need Independent votes, and they need to admit he can get them where she can't.

Younger, poorer voters are the other major group Bernie can demonstrably excite, and Warren has not demonstrated connection with.
