As someone who has taught intellectual history … it all depends on how you define who belongs, right? If you include all those who played the part, Houston Stewart Chamberlain also deserves some notoriety here. Or Alfred Rosenberg.

Lenin never overthrew a dictatorship. He was saying the revolution wouldn't happen in his lifetime in, like, late 1916. Lenin overthrew a failed post-revolutionary regime and then consolidated power in the power vacuum that had emerged.
