If people pass along a piece of folklore the factual basis of which is "pretty much unknowable" then it is fair to describe that folklore as a myth. If it is about racial differences, then it is a racist myth. Sullivan can't get that through his putatively superior skull.https://twitter.com/sullydish/status/1214265385987563520 …

"Why is it 'racist' of me to ask the black journalist lady how she's sure black men don't have giant donkey dongs? I'm just asking questions and checking facts!"https://twitter.com/sullydish/status/1214265385987563520 …
Jeet Heer added,
Andrew Sullivan @sullydishReplying to @nhannahjones @conor64 @AdamSerwerShe never responded. So I have to assume she just made that up. Since when is it "racist" to privately ask a New York Times writer for evidence for a factual assertion? It's called "fact-checking." And I was curious, since it seems to me that this is pretty much unknowable./310 replies 25 retweets 280 likesShow this thread -
