Breaking my no twitter policy to make the historical and sociological observation that “-ite” is always the pejorative for Trots. So perhaps apt that writers from different ideological backgrounds are using the Trotskyite label. That immediately indicates opposition/contempt.
I think the people at the WSWS are such toxic actors in this they deserve the more abusive variation of the word.

Yeah, I’m just saying that if said with a “keywords” intent, the “ite” always has negative political valence. But per your point also: the interviews with Oakes and Bynum are worth reading. Others are blather.
