Maybe they could do this on Kindles: chop books into, say, 60-page segments and then you can shuffle them and make new novels in the style of a Rubik's cube out of your favourites. Voss + Under the Volcano + Moby-Dick (YMMV), mash then serve. "What are you reading?"

The most enjoyable part of this would be either the transitions, or spotting images shared across the original texts. In a minute somebody is going to tell me this is already what happens anyway in the brain of a person who reads books.
