But they're also putting a hard ceiling over Bernie's ability to eventually build a broad-based coalition. There's a point where, policy agreements or not, most people just don't want to be associated with that firehouse of negativity and toxicity.

For better or worse, this is accurate on a larger canvass. Bernie's campaign is truly a movement. Camaraderie, coherence, enthusiasm. But little signs that it's growing, or for that matter shrinking.
