1. We're not talking enough about how Trump is using his pardon power to normalize war crimes. The main resistance to this has come from inside the military itself, which is necessarily limited.

Trump is undoubtedly making the situation worse, but so did Obama and Bush before him. The American military is rotten to the core, and that didn't start with Trump.
