Ok—that’s why I said “don’t choose to understand.” I think we’re saying the same thing.I also think a lot of center-left types (some of the people who served in the Obama administration) really still don’t get it and didn’t then. I’d put Northam a bit to their right.

Yeah, there's a spectrum, and many people (especially those who grew up in a world of weak unions) don't know their potential. But on one end of the spectrum are those who are hostile because they oppose the potential power stronger organized labor would have
