It’s too bad he got a divorce and his ex wife didn’t write his scripts anymore.

Revenge is my second favourite Star Wars movie. It’s legit good, especially in context. I will fight about this.

So, assuming "Empire" was your favorite, you're putting Episode III above IV?pic.twitter.com/kERahsIeGM

The best thing about the prequels is that Lucas nailed the coming years when he had the whole Senate happily applaud Palpatine deciding to become a dictator.

In fairness the original trilogy was kinda budget limited (at least the first one) and the new one is too busy riffing on the original to break much new ground (not a bad thing necessarily, just a fact)

And honestly the idea of pursuing Darth Vader’s arc was great, but then he somehow messed that up too.

What kills me is that the story is there if you zoom out a little. You can see how it might have worked in other hands.

There's more universe building in the first half hour of episode I than the entirety of episode VIII and IX
-
There's more character building in VII than in the entire prequel trilogy. Oh, and IX isn't out yet?
