I remember Destroyer Duck and Pacific Comics. I was in junior high, and the San Diego comics community was pretty excited that a little homegrown indie publisher could get Jack Kirby and Steve Gerber making comics for them. They published Ditko, as well, iirc.

Whoops, just checked myself. Destroyer Duck was put out by Eclipse, Pacific Comics published Kirby's Captain Victory.
