I don't think he even realizes that, if you look at what he's saying, it's a great argument for full on communism.
Wow. Summers' take is so bad that I feel compelled to say this obvious thing: Taxing the rich to support social programs is Sutton's Law. Social programs provide more security and incentive to participate in political life. Taxing *corporations* will dent the power of PACs.
I mean he can't even have been arguing in good faith, his logic is so bad.
They’ve already unleashed hell on us because we’ve shown too much willingness to just take it. The only way to beat bullies is to stand up to them and smash their faces in. I would trade every accommodationist Democrat for just one Walter Reuther.
