I agree that our greatest hope is a multi-racial, working class movement. I wrote a book making that argument I believe it so deeply. I don’t think Sanders can build it.https://twitter.com/AOC/status/1185640849054556160 …

Today I am endorsing Senator @BernieSanders for president. In the end, we must come together to defeat Donald Trump. We should do so knowing he is a symptom of a larger problem - and our greatest hope is a multiracial, working class movement in the United States of America. pic.twitter.com/9fiTS7FTX9

Bernie is right now leading a multi-racial working class movement that has by far more donors (especially working class donors) than any other candidate and is supported by 1 in 6 Democrats. To not support him is to oppose this project of a multi-racial working class movement.

Biden has more support among multi-racial working class people. And Warren leads Sanders among working class people and people of color in a number of polls. Also, in what sense is Sanders' campaign a "movement"?

Biden is not offering any sort of left program but only nostalgia. And the social composition of Bernie's donors is far more working class than Warren's.pic.twitter.com/0sZXzDCDpY

Warren's average donation is $26, Sanders $18. Do we read a lot into that $8? That chart tells us mostly that Sanders has more donors, awkward to draw conclusions. Ironically Sanders is beating Warren in the $100-$150K donor range in the chart, very off message Jeet!

come on, mike. the downward slope for bernie and the upward slope for every other candidate is mostly telling us he has more donors?

Mike, he’s winning donors everywhere, but winning the lower-income occupations by outrageous leaps and bounds, while among the richer folk it’s neck and neck with PB & EW. The plot of the graph is clear as day. Please stop pretending not to see this

So a question I had was about using one data point per occupation. e.g. Sanders having 191 forklift donors (but ~55% of all) vs. 9800 software developer donors (but ~35%). But looking at data, Sanders's occupations with most donors are very blue collar too. Top 30 by # donors:pic.twitter.com/lhLvcpmVVX

The poster could have posted the data this way rather than leading with forklift drivers, which was a ? for me.

What I find hilarious about the attempt to make hay out of donors rather than supporters is that 7 of the 10 leading occupations of Bernie donors are -- gasp, gasp -- within the professional-managerial class, if you find something of value in this concept.

Dialectically translate that into a multi-racial working class movement (of donors).
