Interesting distinction. Willmoore Kendall is a kind of liminal figure -- the only people who really read him anymore or movement conservatives or those who study movement conservatives but his work deserves a wider audience.
Hugh Kenner is kind of interesting because as far as I can tell almost all his audience has been outside of conservative movement.

The Pound Era is, I think, one of the most profound accounts of how tradition survives in an era of technological & intellectual flux, but is really only read by those interested in modernism & poetry, not conservatives.
