One thing has always confused me about Citizen Kane. He's shown dying alone & saying "Rosebud" before the nurse comes in. So how does everyone know his dying words?

That shit is not streaming on Netflix (in the USA, right this second), which is a shame, as I’m about to get on a trans-pacific flight

One day, back in 1896, I was crossing over to Jersey on the ferry, and as we pulled out, there was another ferry pulling in, and on it there was a girl waiting to get off. A white dress she had on. She was carrying a white parasol. I only saw her for one second.

She didn't see me at all, but I'll bet a month hasn't gone by since that I haven't thought of that girl.

The nurse was listening at the keyhole, hoping Kane might mention the combination to the safe. That’s why, when he drops the snow globe, she hustles in, disappointed-like. She spills the whole story to Raymond when he buys her a drink. Never trust a blabbermouth nurse.
