That’s the single dumbest thing you’ve ever said. There’s no international legal obligation to put a nation’s armed forces in the way of a war between two other states. The US doesn’t even have the legal right to be there!

International law was chucked overboard by the Bush regime. What we need an international recognition that it needs to be reestablished. A good way for the US to show goodwill to extradite Bush to the ICC or to Iraq.

@robertwrighter Are you sure this is correct? If Kurdish forces are launching armed attacks into Turkey from Syrian territory, wouldn’t international law permit Turkish counterattacks in Syria so long as they were proportionate? -
Since they arent the Syrian govt, not actually sure if thats true
