True, part of the political dynamic at work is the PMC is under stress & so becoming more receptive to social democracy. That's true all across the western world.

They would benefit greatly. But their consciousness is fucked up by elitism and the dream of being rich, so they are not a reliable constituency for social democracy and can turn right en masse as we've seen in Brazil and other countries.
