Fair, and thus point 1) -- that a lot of the coverage is deserved b/c she's doing v well in the race and there are good reasons why But it does feel like there are a loooot more positive Warren storylines than there would be if someone else surged

Part of this debate happens bc media think: "She's from Oklahoma!"+"She was poor!"+"She taught Sunday School!"+ "She talks folksy smart!" should add up to working class support/undercut Trump's appeal. But her base is persistently concentrated among high-earners & post-grads.

We've been thru this in various iterations before. Obama talked folksy & plain, triumphed over adversity, went to Harvard. It worked for him, but there's been a bit of a "fool me once" vibe since 2014ish...
