1. Impeach Kavanaugh? On the merits, sure. But as we know from Trump, just impeachment is both a political and legal process. And it's hard to imagine any process ending with 67 Senators voting to remove.

I don't think there is any chance of actually removing him, but I do think there is value in using this situation to de-legitimize SCOTUS and the Federal Court System. The hard right owns the legal system for a generation at least and we need to get real about our options.

At this point the fact of removal is less important than establishing that yes, there are standards before those too crumble to dust. Who knows what it will take to wake up our country, but I know it isn’t going to be the media news cycles. There is too much to follow.
