1. So, the CNN Climate forum was, on the whole, a very hopeful event: 7 hour marathon with candidates seriously discussing issue, offering competing plans, and putting it on the forefront of USA politics. Very welcome.

Much more of the debate should have been spent drawing contrasts between the serious nature in which D’s address the issue and how utterly embarrassing the entire GOP is on it. Otherwise it’s not going to be part of the discourse in the general yet again
