Never forget that @PolitiFact said Hillary Clinton called Black youths superpredators.

@allisonbgraves: 90's academia and 90's vernacular is irrelevant when understanding statements made in the 90's. This is insane:pic.twitter.com/VnLJYkosVS

"Fact checking" -- like media coverage generally has always been suspect. And this dramatically accelerated since Trump became president. It's just now targeting Sanders.

Thanks for sharing. Those interested in this issue should also listen to this important

Let's cut to the chase. The entire idea of such fact-checking work as published articles is garbage. It's the inevitable by-product of "both sides equally" reporting. As a journalist, I have always seen it as part of my job to go, "X said this, but it's demonstrably wrong."

Many readers know bias when they see it. Once that trust is broken it is very difficult to get it back because people feel betrayed. The media slamming Sanders whether he’s right or wrong does nothing for their credibility. In these critical times we need facts. Spin is easy.

They’re spinning everything they can against him! They’re propping up
@ewarren against him. Going to end up with disenfranchised voters again.@BernieSanders - Show replies
