There is indeed. And the man wrote beautifully, and was often deeply perceptive and even profound. But he had a dark side too, and that can't be ignored - even though many try.

He really is a wonderful writer. His novels are still relevant, his journalism often compelling, and his non-fiction deeply interesting. By the way, the one true catholic and apostolic church is not the same as the Roman Catholic church.
