Are other candidates doing outreach to not-quite-political outlets yet? Feels like we should start seeing it.
-
Obama did some of this. He appeared on WTF & other non-political podcasts. It's a smart thing to do.

And Trump has a lot of Twitter followers.

Yes, Trump is a talented politician. He won in 2016. Being able to reach people is a skill that anyone who is involved in politics shouldn't scorn.

You cannot gainsay his cross-over appeal. Bernie does just as well head-to-head with Trump as Joe Biden, and way better than Warren, Buttigieg, etc.

Or that Bernie fans will watch any show he’s interviewed on, or Joe Rogan fans will watch anyone he interviews. Not sure this is proof of great outreach quite yet.

I think having enthusiastic supporters (or "fans") is a plus for a politicians. But for some reason the Dems like to nominate people who stir zero enthusiasm: Dukakis, Gore, Kerry, Biden.

Views <> votes. They will watch videos but then not vote. Seriously, your obsession with Bernie is bizarre.

There are make-up tutorials on YouTube with 3x as many views. Bernie has proved that his big crowds don’t equal big vote tallies for him. Hell, just look at the horrible results of Our Revolution and Justice Dems in Midterms. Look at polling. How do you ignore every other metric?

Bernie would be our president now if the DNC hadn't stepped all over the delegate count at the convention. How do you ignore *that* metric?
