Sadly, we don't have as copious records of Crane's thoughts on the craft as we do (for better or for worse) of Toth's. Aside from the material that was rounded-up in that Cartoonist PROfiles issue, there's not much out there on/by Crane, is there?

The Cartoonist PROfiles stuff is part of a larger "how to cartoon" guide that Crane made for his assistants. I printed excerpts in TCJ. It's held in Syracuse University among the Crane papers.
