The working class voters are, quite understandably, transactional & pragmatic. If the new progressive legislators start delivering the goods, they'll shift. I think establishment Dems are on thin ice.

Will be interested to see how those fault lines change now that progressive Democrats rebelled, ousted the IDC, and passed a lot of major policy in NY this year. Track record for young progressives off to a pretty decent start after years of establishment stalemate

This is a very good question. Also question is whether the establishment Dems will simply shift toward some version of new policies coming out of Albany.

separating out progressive from establishment is where ppl err, show extreme biases or are intentionally trying to mislead others. progressive is not something new ... nor an outlier. many politicians, called centrists by buffoons with agendas, are in fact progressives.
