I know it’s unintentional but I think providing this kind of window into the eliminationist madness of the Netanyahu administration will be edifying for some.
Oh, like Yglesias I think it's very very useful for the Times to publish this.
NYT is a propaganda outlet for billionaires & the Deep State
The NYT isn't going down this route. It's publishing an op-ed by the Israel ambassador to the UN. It's not an editorial.
Like Yglesias, I think it's useful they published it (Americans need to understand what Israeli government thinks). But they could've had a rebuttal like, "hey, maybe the Palestinians shouldn't be a permanently subjected people."
I think Platypus' schtick is that they adopt reactionary arguments, or synthesize them with left ones or something, in order to bring about the collapse of the existing left and thereby the Revolution. In the meantime, they sound an awful lot like Strasserites.
But not surprising
then there's the more subtle strategy of "giving up" and demanding full rights of Israeli citizenship, and this Israei Arabs make up about 45% of Israel's population
Isn't uncritically parroting ultra-right racism and threadbare authoritarian propaganda pretty much the Times' calling at this point. Only thing interesting is that they didn't add a note from the editorial board calling for genocide.
