Did you ever wonder why Khrushchev built a wall around Berlin and tried to put nuclear missiles in Cuba? It wasn't because he was an evil Soviet dictator. He looked at how the US had bungled the Bay of Pigs and figured Kennedy was a pushover.

… and there’s really no way he can respond to the charge of incoherence that doesn’t underscore its truth. Voters seem to be enthusiastic about bellicosity right now; Dems need a line that doesn’t feed Trump’s appeal as a tough guy (or cast them as fainting violets).
