I voted for Delany but I would also say that Asimov/Heinlein should be considered along with Delany, Wolfe and Butler

Heinlein will rightfully disappear into the mists of history (despite his naked appeal to my loyalty by setting parts of his novels in my –and Jack Williamson's – hometown).
