Too many incumbent Democrats owe their position, power and prestige to the same system that elevated Trump. The resistance has to turn its energies to unseating time-servers and corrupt cronies in the Democratic Party and can't afford to be fooled by bad-faith pleas for "unity."

Regarding fecklessness, if your assertion is based upon Democrats not being able to stop McConnell's (and other Republicans) craven corruption, this suggests a misunderstanding of how power operates in D.C. particularly when it is in the hands of Republicans, which is corruptly.

To me, the problem is that Dems aren't even talking about these things and are very meekly investigating. Could they put an immediate stop to it? No. But they don't even seem to be trying to get the word out.
