Adult journalists whining to YouTube and throwing a fit because the platform won't remove material that the journalists have subjectively deemed "harassing" is so infantile and feeble-minded, it's ridiculous

It's not violent. Shouldn't be banned.

If you have a large public platform and constantly make provocative political statements as part of your job, you should expect to receive provocative, demeaning insults, and not use those insults as grounds to demand censorship.

What level of homophobic or racist insults need to be allowed on this commercial platform and what should be removed? Should yellowface be allowed etc

You're making a category error. Insulting someone, even in nasty or bigoted terms, is not harassing them. If you don't tune in, you can safely ignore the insult. Platforms use terms like "harassment" to refer to conduct that is too invasive to just ignore.

Calling someone a “lispy queer” is certainly insulting and demeaning, but I don’t see how it’s harassing unless you’re following the person around shouting it in their ear over and over again.

Maybe it’s how white nationalists flirt. Most are against gay marriage because they’re pro-open relationship
